Somatic +Narrative Embodiment

When your body holds the weight—and you’re ready to feel like yourself again.

You’re not broken. You’re not too much.

You’re likely just carrying too much—emotionally, mentally, physically—and your body is asking for a new way through.

This work helps you listen to what your body is trying to say…and gently shift the story that’s been looping beneath the surface.

Feeling overwhelmed, unclear, or unsure what you need?

This free 30-minute call is a soft space to land.

We’ll explore what you’re holding and how I can support you.

This is where your story meets your body—and things begin to shift.

You don’t need to explain it perfectly. You don’t need to make sense of it first.

You just need to notice what you’ve been holding.

In our work together, we start by gently naming what’s been feeling off, overwhelming, or heavy.

Then we explore where that lives in your body—tight chest, shallow breath, tired shoulders, tense jaw.

From there, we follow what your system is already showing us.

Through conversation, body-based awareness, and nervous system grounding, we begin to release what’s stuck—without force, without judgment.

You don’t have to figure it all out. You just have to show up. Your body will do the rest.

Somatics: Helping your body feel safe again.

Somatics is the practice of noticing what’s happening inside your body—and letting that guide the healing.

When you’re stuck in your head or feeling scattered, your nervous system is likely in a state of protection. That might look like:

• Feeling emotionally numb or overwhelmed

• Difficulty sleeping or relaxing

• Constant tension in the body

• Shutting down in conversations

• Overanalyzing instead of feeling

In our sessions, I’ll help you slow down and tune in.

You’ll begin to notice sensation again—without needing to fix anything.

Together, we’ll support your body in finding safety, release, and relief.

When your body feels safe, your mind gets clearer.

This is where regulation begins.

Your body holds experiences. But it also holds meaning.

Often, we’re living out stories like:

• “I have to hold it all.”

• “No one will understand me.”

• “If I slow down, I’ll fall apart.”

• “I’m too sensitive.”

• “I should be farther along by now.”

These stories live inside muscles, breath, posture, and patterns.

They’re not just thoughts. They’re survival strategies.

Narrative embodiment helps us notice and name these stories—then shift them through the body.

We don’t just rewrite beliefs. We feel the new possibility and let your nervous system learn it’s safe to live from that place.

This work isn’t about positive thinking.

It’s about embodied transformation that lasts.

Narrative Embodiment: Shifting the story that’s running your life.

Brigitte

During our beautiful session, we grounded together, cultivating a deep sense of secure attachment. She fully embraced the presence and support of her ancestors, feeling their love and the steadfast support of her family. As we explored the stories unfolding, we gently shifted perspectives, opening up to a new narrative that honored her experience. It was in that moment that a profound sense of peace washed over her, fully embodied, completing our journey in harmony.

What becomes possible when your body and story are aligned:

  • You feel more grounded, centered, and at ease

  • Anxiety softens. Breath deepens. Clarity returns

  • You respond instead of react

  • You stop abandoning yourself in hard moments

  • Your creativity and intuition come back online

  • You build the capacity to hold more—without burnout

  • You begin to trust yourself again

Most of all, you feel like you again.

Not the over-functioning, overthinking version.

But the one who feels clear, calm, and connected.

You don’t need to go back to the version of you who coped.

You’re becoming the version of you who can live.

If you’re ready to stop spinning in your head and start listening to your body, this is your first step.

No pressure. No rush. Just space to begin.
